Ph. D. Aleksandar Joksimović was born on August 5, 1968, in Novi Pazar, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Primary and secondary school finished in Novi Pazar. Graduated study from the faculty of Natural-Mathematical Sciences in Kragujevac, Department of Biology, with grade point average 8.33.

 

Postgraduate studies terminated at the same faculty, in 1999. M.A. “State, Structure and Exploitation Level of Red Pandora, Pagellus erythrinus (Linnaeus, 1758), Population in the Montenegrin Coastal Waters” examination on April 18, 2000, at the faculty of Natural-Mathematical Sciences in Kragujevac.

 

Ph. D. final examination, “Population Dynamic of Red mullet (Mullus barbatus, Linnaeus, 1758) in the Montenegrin shelf” pass in May 2005. at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.

Reads English and Russian language.

With wife Danijela has daugther Anastasija and son Andrej

Live and work in Kotor.

 

Data on career moves

Right after the graduation, worked as a biology teacher at the primary school, in Novi Pazar. Has been working at the Institute of Marine Biology, since 1996, as a researcher-collaborator, in the field of ichthyology and fisheries. Promoted, after three years working experience, in assistant, on the field of ichthyology and fisheries.

Ph. D. Aleksandar Joksimović was promoted into assistant on February 14, 2001, under the decision of the Science-Educational Council of the University of Republic of Montenegro.

 

Teaching-pedagogical activity

During his activity at the Institute, Ph. D. Aleksandar Joksimović has held several lectures and field and laboratory experiments to biology students from the Universities of Belgrade, Podgorica, Kragujevac, Novi Sad and Banja Luka. He is engaged, as a lecturer, in the course “Ecology and Protection of the Sea”, already organized, for three times by the United World Colleges Organization.
